Student Health and Counseling Services is planning to offer students access to the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine before the end of the semester, University of Tennessee at Martin officials announced Wednesday, March 24.
Officials announced the plan in an email to students.
UT Martin leaders said they want all students to consider vaccination. Anyone interested in getting vaccinated through UTM can fill out a COVID-19 Vaccination Interest Form. No one who fills out the form is required to get vaccinated.
Student Health and Counseling said they welcome questions about the vaccine and process.
The Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine is one dose, unlike its counterparts - Pfizer and Moderna - which are two doses spaced three and four weeks apart respectively.
NOTE: TENNESSEANS 55+ ARE NOW ELIGIBLE TO MAKE A VACCINE APPOINTMENT.
