All Weakley County Schools will employ a new system using identification badges on Tuesday, September 17. Every student will receive a badge and a lanyard in order to keep up with school lunch accounts rather than having to remember a code.
These school lunch
profiles alert cafeteria workers of the student's funds as well as any allergies. School officials hope this badge system will decrease the amount of time it takes for a student to go through the lunch line.
Randy Frazier, director of Weakley County Schools, hopes the badges could have more uses in the future.
