The UT Martin Women’s Basketball team extended their win streak to 5 games over the weekend. The Skyhawks rolled to an 86-72 win at home over Jacksonville State to wrap up a 2-game homestand and claim their 12th straight win over the Gamecocks. The Skyhawks never trailed and led by as many as 19 in the contest, as the offense shot 52% from the floor on the afternoon. Despite battling foul trouble all game, Chelsey Perry led four Skyhawks in double-figures with 27 points and 7 rebounds in only 25 minutes. Maddie Waldrop posted her second straight double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Kyannah Grant and Tamiah Stanford led the backcourt with 13 points apiece. The team returns to action Thursday as they travel to regional rival Southeast Missouri.
