The UT Martin Men's Basketball team opened a 4 game road trip with a tough defeat last night. The Skyhawks fell on the road to Eastern Illinois for their 4th straight loss in conference play. The Skyhawks trailed by as much as 26 in the first half but were able to get the deficit down to digits with 8:34 to play, but ran out of steam down the stretch. Forward Quintin Dove led the team with 27 points and 8 rebounds, while guard Parker Stewart tossed in 27 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists on the night. The team will look to snap the skid on Saturday afternoon as they travel to take on SIUE.
