MARTIN, Tenn -- The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on March 27, according to a University of Tennessee at Martin press release.
Following guidance issued by the CDC regarding COVID-19, the meeting will be held online. The meeting will be webcast live and archived for later viewing. The link can be found at tennessee.edu.
At the meeting, the Board of Trustees will consider appointing Interim President Randy Boyd to the position of president up to June 2025.
The Board will also consider the response to the coronavirus and may take action as necessary.
