The UT Martin Men’s Basketball team took a tough loss on the road last night. The Skyhawks fell on the road to Eastern Kentucky by a score of 99-86. Despite a career-high 35 points from Senior forward Quintin Dove, the Skyhawks could not overcome 1st half turnovers and a 20-point halftime deficit. UT Martin would get the deficit down to single digits twice in the 2nd half but ultimately could never get over the hump. Sophomore guard Parker Stewart added 18 points and 8 rebounds, while Junior forward Miles Thomas chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. The team will look to bounce back on Saturday as they travel Morehead State.
