The Tennessee Department of Health confirmed 833 new cases of COVID-19 across the state Wednesday, September 9, 2020.
The department also confirmed 35 additional deaths and 1,533 recoveries.
Weakley County has 129 active cases and Obion has 121, according to the department, which is a decrease on both accounts.
Weakley confirmed 140 active cases on Tuesday and Obion 127.
University of Tennessee at Martin officials confirmed 33 students have the virus, which is a jump from 20 on Tuesday.
