The Tennessee Department of Health confirmed 645 cases of COVID-19 across the state Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020.
The department also confirmed 27 additional deaths and 1,952 new recoveries.
Weakley County has 140 active cases, which is down 24 from Monday's total, according to the department.
They reported Obion County has 127 active cases - also down from Monday.
University of Tennessee at Martin officials confirm 20 students have the virus, along with three faculty and staff members.
The student total is down eight from Monday.
