The Tennessee Department of Health confirmed 835 of COVID-19 across the state Sunday, August 30, 2020.
The department also confirmed 22 additional deaths and 670 recoveries.
Weakley County has 391 active cases, which is up from last week, according to the department. Obion has 297.
Officials with the University of Tennessee at Martin reported 27 students currently have COVID-19, which is more than last week, but it's not the highest the number has been since school started. Officials say two faculty and staff members have COVID-19.
