The Tennessee Department of Health confirmed 879 new cases of COVID-19 across the state Tuesday, Sept. 29.
The department also reported 31 additional deaths and 1,915 recoveries.
Weakly County has 131 active cases, the department said. That's down from Monday's 141.
Obion County has 145, which is down from Monday's 164.
University of Tennessee at Martin officials confirmed 46 active student cases and two faculty and staff cases, which is a net increase of four case overnight.
