The Tennessee Department of Health confirmed 2,450 new cases of COVID-19 across the state Monday, September 14, 2020.
The department confirmed 19 additional deaths and 943 recoveries.
Monday's new case number was above average for the last month.
Weakley County has 133 active cases, the department reported. That is up from the weekend.
According to the department, Obion County has 137 active cases, which is also up.
University of Tennessee at Martin officials say there are 24 active student cases, along with one faculty and staff case.
The student total has dropped by 12 cases.
