UT Martin Athletic Director Kurt McGuffin has announced the hiring of Kevin Mangan as the head of the Skyhawk Cross Country Program. Mangan gets the nod after spending two seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator with both the cross country and track programs. He will remain an assistant on the track team staff. As a former student-athlete, Mangan competed on both the cross country and track teams at the University of Washington where he was recognized as a PAC-12 Academic honoree. As a whole, both Skyhawk squads have garnered regional rankings by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association while he assisted in mentoring an all-region performer.
