The Japanese Anime Research Society held their Blackout event last night in the University Center.
Students enjoyed free food and drinks as well as watched the anime “The Future Diary”.
JARS President Jarobert Green believes these events help students to have fun and meet people.
"I think it just gives everyone an opportunity to get out and meet people and have a good time. I think it helps that these events are free."
For more information about the Japanese Anime Research Society students are encouraged to visit the University Center or visit runway.utm.edu.
