Homecoming activities are taking place all week across the campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin.
The safety of the students is being greatly considered, as all events are socially-distanced or virtual this year.
A few of the featured events this week: a campus firework show, a virtual 5k run and virtual grilling with the chancellor this weekend.
UT Martin chancellor, Dr. Keith Carver, is hoping students will get involved and come out and enjoy a break from the stressful semester.
"When you are engaging in student activities with others, it really helps your mental well-being and allows you to look away and recharge by being around people," Carver said.
