The UT Martin Baseball team dropped a tough loss yesterday. The Skyhawks fell on the road to SEC power Alabama 10-5.
The Crimson Tide jumped on UT Martin early as Freshman Austin Kasick surrendered 5 runs inside the first two innings. The Skyhawks battled back but ultimately could not get over the hump. Sean Dixson led the Skyhawk offense with 3 hits, 1 run scored, and an RBI on the day.
The team returns to action Friday as they travel to take on Mercer for a 3-game weekend series.
