UT Martin Women's Basketball forward Chelsey Perry continued her torrid start to conference play with two more excellent performances last week. In 2 wins last week she averaged 28.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.0 blocks per game in 2 double digit victories for UT Martin over Tennessee State and Belmont. The dominant showings earned Perry her fifth OVC Player of the Week award on the season. The award gives the Junior from Middleton, Tennessee 5 of the last 7 awards this season. Her 34 point performance against Belmont helped her boost her OVC-leading average of 26 points per game. Perry and the Skyhawks will look to continue their hot start to conference play as they host the rival Murray State Racers on Thursday night. Tipoff from the Elam Center is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
