Campus clubs partner for hurricane relief

MARTIN, Tenn. – Rotaract and Freshman Council will be collecting items over the next week to benefit those impacted by Hurricane Ian in Florida.

The clubs will be set up in the University Center Hallway from 10:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. on Nov. 14-18. They will be collecting canned food items, cleaning products and toiletries.

Freshman Council is a branch of the Student Government Association exclusively made up of first-year students. Freshmen are encouraged to make connections and grow as leaders while also providing a fresh perspective of campus.

Rotaract is a student club that focuses on service projects that benefit local, national and international people in need. It is an international collegiate service organization that meets on a weekly basis.
