Alexis Grandys Named OVC Female Runner of the Week

The OVC announced that UT Martin Sophomore Cross Country Runner Alexis Grandys has been named OVC Cross Country Runner of the Week. She wins the award after a strong showing at the Chile Pepper Invitational Cross Country Invitational over the weekend. She tied for the fastest time in the OVC this week with a new personal best time of 17:22.9 giving her a 24th place finish out of 270 competitors. The team returns to action on October 18 at the Bradley Pink Classic.
