The OVC announced that UT Martin Junior Cross Country runner Alexis Grandys has been named OVC Cross Country Athlete of the Year. She makes history as the first Skyhawk (male or female) to win the award. Grandys has been one of the best runners in the region, winning 3 OVC Runner of the Week awards this season. She shattered her previous 6K PR by nearly two minutes at the Bradley Pink Classic, running a 21:19.3, the fastest 6K time in the OVC in 2019.
