Free soap samples were passed around yesterday as local entrepreneur Davida Wilson talked to a sheep and goat production class at UT Martin on Wednesday.
Wilson is the owner and founder of Wilson Farm Soaps in Martin.
Wilson and her husband started making goat milk products on their farm in Martin, Tennessee, in 2015. They milk their own goats and hand make all natural goat milk products such as soap, lotion, bath bombs and more.
She explained to the class the breeds of goats they raise as well as the process of making goat milk soap from milking the goat down to letting the soap cure. The class had many questions about the process and Wilson was eager to answer them.
Wilson hopes to expand her business in the future by adding more products to her selection and in more businesses local and nation-wide. Wilson Farm Soaps can be found on Facebook and Instagram.
