UT Martin SGA to celebrate Constitution Day

Americans will celebrate Constitution Day on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020. The day is designated to celebrate the signing of the constitution in 1787.

The University of Tennessee at Martin's Student Government Association will welcome Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Holly Kirby for a discussion on law, according to Assistance Vice Chancellor for the Division of Student Affairs John Abel.

Kirby's presentation will be available on Zoom at noon.

Abel says SGA will also host a Voter Registration Drive that day from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the University Center.

In order to qualify to vote in November's election, you must register by Oct. 5, which can be done online.
