Tennessee Men's Basketball Takes Two Tough Losses Against Kansas and Texas A&M

The Tennessee Men's Basketball Team showed signs of hope in Saturday's 74-68 loss to the Kansas Jayhawks. Rick Barnes' squad gave the third ranked Jayhawks all they could handle, but a double-double performance from Udoka Azubuike proved too much. Tennessee is now 1-4 against Kansas with their last victory coming in 2010.

The struggles continued for Tennessee as they dropped a game at home against Texas A&M 63-58. The Vols had four players in double digits but that couldn't help them overcome the breakout performance from Wendall Mitchell who posted 23 points on the night.

The next time the Vols will be in action will be on February 1st when they travel to Mississippi State. Tennessee has been able to play good team defense however it has been a struggle on the offensive end. Tipoff is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. and will be broadcasted on ESPN U.
