Milestones Within Reach as Westview Hosts Westmoreland in Playoffs

As the second round of the playoffs starts, Westview High School (WHS) goes against Westmoreland High School, a home game for Westview and a three and a half hour drive for Westmoreland. Some WHS players are close to some personal achievements on the season:
Running back Asa Barnes has 104 carries for 772 yards with 20 touchdowns. He needs 228 yards on the ground to reach the coveted 1000 yard rushing season. Barnes also has 20 catches for 349 yards receiving yards and 3 touchdowns, he needs 151 yards receiving for 500 on the season.
Quarterback Graham Simpson has gone 148/188 for 2,389 passing yards and has a 25 to 2 touchdown to interception ratio. He only needs 111 yards to achieve 2,500 passing yards on the season
Wide receiver Donteze Joy has 41 catches for 815 yards tagging along 8 touchdowns. Joy needs 185 yards in the air to get the major 1000 yard receiving season and only 2 touchdowns to have 10 on the season.
Wide receiver Miles Brown has 37 catches for 521 yards for 7 touchdowns. He needs 3 more touchdowns for 10 on the season.
Linebacker Finn Snider finally got his 100th tackle on the season last week against Hamilton, he made 13 tackles and 2 QB pressures during the game.
