Skyhawks Taco'bout Diseases

Free tacos were just the beginning for students who attended the Skyhawks Taco'bout Diseases event Wednesday night in the Cooper hall basement.

Students played bingo related to sexual health and were given free condoms. The winners of bingo were given Chick-fil-A gift cards for a free chicken sandwich.

Health experts from the Weakley County Health Department offered health information relating to STD prevention, treatment and vaccinations.

"What's going on and actually have a reality when it comes to the world. So just knowing that it does affect everyone on our campus. And just knowing ways to help yourself as well as helping others and staying protected," explained Alicia Cooper, Hall Director of University Village Phase 2.

For more information on STD's students are encouraged to visit the student health center on campus.
