To celebrate Constitution Day, the Student Government Association (SGA) is hosting two different events to help students become aware of their constitutional rights.
On Friday, September 15th SGA will be handing out mini-constitutions and candy. From 10 to 1, the Procedures Committee will be set up in the UC Hallway.
There will be a Constitution Day Speaker on Monday, September 18th at 4:00 pm. Michael O'Neill, UTM Director of Public Safety, will be talking about "Constitutional Rights & Law Enforcement Interactions" in University Center Room 111.
What is Constitution Day? Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by the thirty-nine founding fathers men on September 17, 1787.
