On Tuesday, General Manager David Poile announced that the Nashville Predators had decided to extend defensive-men Roman Josi to an eight-year $72.4 million dollar contract.
Josi, the team's captain, has played in Nashville his entire nine-year career. He was apart of the team that went to the Stanley Cup in 2017 and the team that won the President's Trophy in 2018. He's made the all-star team twice in his career, and is ranked fourth all-time in points scored with 361.
