Martin citizens are on-edge after two shootings occurred in three days.
Officers responded to the Station Apartments on Saturday after multiple people tried to rob two men at gunpoint. Shots were fired, and the victim was taken to the hospital.
Officers then responded to another shooting at Cambridge Apartments early Monday morning.
Saturday's shooting victim has been released from the hospital.
According to a university email, a false report of gunshots was called in last night from the Station. Police responded to both calls determined that there was no danger to the campus. People heard no gunshots, and the callers only heard muffled noises that could not be identified as gunshots.
