Humboldt pawn shop robbery

Two people allegedly stole thousands of dollars in merchandise Monday morning after they smashed the windows of a Humboldt business.

The owner of Humboldt Pawn and Sales, William Stepps, said the front door was smashed in, and about $10,000 worth of guns and jewelry were gone.

Stepps said someone has tried to break in several times before.

According to security footage, the two people drove up to the store on a motorcycle. The video shows one wearing a helmet and the second person wearing a mask.

Stepps said the employees are spending a few days to clean up the mess left behind. Anyone with information is asked to call the Humboldt Police Department.
