Students enjoyed free food and answered questions related to Black History Month Friday in the University Center room 111 as part of For the Culture trivia night.
Multicultural Affairs LGBTQ chair Andre Parker tells why events like For the Culture are beneficial for students.
"Events like this, like For the Culture, are really important basically because it gives students who look like us - like me - a place where we can actually joke around and relax and destress and also really educate ourselves on a lot of our history that we aren't taught in schools."
Students are encouraged to visit the Office of Multicultural Affairs in the University Center for information on events.
