Postponed for snow and ice on Valentines' Day, the sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha found a way to spread love.
The sorority hosted a "GAL-entines" sisterhood event to prepare sugar scrubs for patients at the Kirkland Cancer Center on February 23. The sorority participates in the event every year.
Even though it was late, the sisterhood was something members insisted on having. These events give members the opportunity to brighten someone's day.
Naomi Griffin, a sophomore of Zeta Tau Alpha, said she was excited for the event.
“I’ve always had a passion for Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. To be able to join a sorority that is partnered with that and really works with it just makes me really proud and happy to help out in that area,” Griffin said.
