Today, Dr. Harcek's public speaking class will host semester smackdown. This semester smackdown is boxing but in a debate way. This will be the final speech for Dr. Harcek's public speaking class.
This event is intended to give these students a much better understanding of what true public speaking is like.
The event will start at 7 p.m in the Gooch auditorium. Students should expect a unique and interesting experience watching debates between Dr. Todd Harcek and his students over a wide range of topics. There will be a raffle drawing, pizza, and bonus cash prizes.
Tyler LeMasters, one of the public speaking student, says "Students should come for entertainment and to support other students, as well as for the raffle and the prices being given away."
