Nashville Can't Continue Winning Streak Against Las Vegas

The Nashville Predators got a statement win against the Washington Capitals when they walked out of Capital One Arena with a 5-4 victory. The Preds were able to take down one of the NHL's best teams with ten different players recording points. Ryan Johansen had a goal and one assist while Jarred Tinordi scored his first NHL goal.

In the final game of a back-to-back road trip, the Nashville Predators defeated the New Jersey Devils 6-5 in a shootout. It was a back and forth game in John Hynes' return to the Prudential Center, as Filip Forsberg and Matt Duchene combined for three goals in regulation and both scored in the shootout with Matt Duchene netting the game winner.

With a two game winning streak in their hands, the Predators failed to keep their momentum up when they lost to the Las Vegas Golden Knights 3-0. Pekka Rinne finished as the second star of the game with 36 saves but it wasn't enough. Nashville has yet to have a winning streak extend above two games since late October.

Nashville will be in Winnipeg tonight and puck drop is at 7 P.M.
