#18 UT Martin to host OVC Newcomer Lindenwood on Saturday Night

The lights will shine bright this Saturday night at 6 when the #18 UT Martin Skyhawks begin their OVC schedule with the conference newcomer Lindenwood Lions. The Skyhawks are coming into this game hungry for their first win since the season opener against Western Illinois. The past two weeks haven't been kind to UT Martin with the Skyhawks facing top-shelf competition in Missouri State and Boise State respectively.

Skyhawk Quarterback Dresser Winn will look to get the offense back into shape after facing a stern Boise State defense that held UT Martin to just 152 total yards of offense. The prime focus for the offense will be to get the rushing attack going. Running back Zak Wallace will lead that charge; the redshirt sophomore has 226 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns on the season, while backup running backs Sam Franklin and Jordan Castleberry will see playing time as well.

Linebackers Rob Hicks and John Ford will have their focus on the passing game that Lindenwood will bring into Hardy Graham Stadium. Hicks leads the OVC in tackles with 11.3 a game and Ford leads the team in tackles-for-loss with 4.5. The All-time leader in passing touchdowns at Lindenwood, Cade Brister will have to find ways around Hicks and Ford if he hopes to bring the Lions their first division one conference win.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and fans have been instructed to wear white for tomorrow's game. WUTM will be on the call with Davis Gregory and Jared Davidson. Pregame will start at 5:45.
