#15 UT Martin to host conference rival Tennessee Tech for its annual homecoming game.

It is expected to be a packed house this Saturday as the UT Martin Skyhawks host the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles in what will be UTM's annual homecoming game. The Skyhawks will enter this game with two wins under their belt after recently beating the Lindenwold lions, 56-26, at home.


This game had everything to do with the Skyhawks' rushing attack, which saw the Skyhawks rush for a total of 343 yards and score five total touchdowns on the ground. Redshirt freshman running back Sam Franklin shined with three rushing touchdowns on only six total rushing attempts.

UTM running back Zak Wallace followed through with a monster game of his own with 204 yards gained on 11 carries and two touchdowns. UTM quarterback Dresser Winn completed 19 of 26 passes with 198 yards and two touchdowns through the air.


After their standout performances, Zak Wallace and Sam Franklin each earned Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week honors. Wallace was voted Offensive Player of the Week and Franklin earned Newcomer of the Week.


This Saturday, the Skyhawks will look to add another win to the season at home against Tennessee Tech for homecoming week. The Golden Lions are currently sitting at 4th place in the OVC and have a 1-2 overall record.


Kickoff will begin at 2:00 P.M.
