The University of Tennessee at Martin’s WestStar Leadership Program held graduation for the WestTeach Class of 2019 on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020 at Madison Downs Venue in Jackson, Tenn. The class consisted of 22 teachers representing 17 different West Tennessee counties. The teachers participated in a five-day development program beginning in August 2019 and lasting through December. This is the second year for the program.

Graduates, guests and WestStar alumni were welcomed by Dr. Charley Deal, executive director, WestStar Leadership. UT Martin chancellor, Dr. Keith Carver, delivered the keynote address during the ceremony.
