UT System Interim President hosts town hall in Martin
UT System Interim President Randy Boyd hosted the president's Town Hall Tour at the University of Tennessee at Martin on Tuesday to discuss his vision for the system, according to a university news release.
During the town hall, Boyd discussed five goals, including student success, research, service, collaboration and building a brand.
After his speech, Boyd opened the floor up to audience members to ask questions and give feedback about his abilities to take on the role as the UT President.
Once the tour is complete, the Board of Trustees will vote whether or not to allow Boyd to serve an additional five years.
