The UT Martin Women's Basketball Team will return to the hardwood on Thursday night for the 3rd game in a 4 game homestand. The Skyhawks will host the rival Murray State Racers in the 2nd half of the season series between the two teams.

As part of Thursday night's doubleheader, UT Martin officials are set to reveal a new alternate logo, that was voted on by students, faculty, and alumni in November of 2019.

The Skyhawks enter the game on a 4-game winning streak since the start of conference play. During the 4-game stretch, the Skyhawks have averaged 80 points per game, winning those games by an average margin of 16.8 points. Reigning OVC Player of the Week Chelsey Perry has been the main catalyst for the Skyhawk offense averaging 28 points and 7.5 rebounds per game last week in 2 wins over Tennessee State and Belmont.

The Skyhawks and Racers have met once already this season, with UT Martin winning the matchup 89-64 in Murray on January 2. Perry scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Murray native Maddie Waldrop also posted a nice game of 15 points and 9 rebounds.

Tipoff Thursday is at 5:30 p.m.
