The Student Government Association and the Student Activities Council hosted a Student Appreciation cookout on the University Village Lawn last night in honor of Student Appreciation Week.
Students enjoyed hot dogs, cookies and chips while playing games provided by SGA and SAC. Tomorrow morning, students can enjoy donuts and coffee on the UC Patio.
Student Appreciation Week is meant to "give back to our student body through run and relaxing events," said SGA Representative and Multicultural Affairs Chair Jagger Lampkins. "We want this week to sort of be a friendly liaison between us and the student body."
