Skyhawks Got Talent

The Office of Multicultural Affairs and the National Pan-Hellenic Council sororities and fraternities hosted the University of Tennessee at Martin's very first Skyhawks Got Talent in Watkins Auditorium Sunday, November 8.

Hosts Jamarques Parker and Hannah Bilger

Performers showed off a wide range of skills from singing to dancing and playing the violin to reading an original poem.

Freshman Kiya Simmons

Freshman Kiya Simmons was on of the performers in the talent show.

She sang the song Wagon Wheel and played guitar.

After the show, she explained how it felt getting to perform.

"It was really cool to get to show off my talent in front of my fellow classmates and get the opportunity to do something that was out of my comfort zone."

She was one of nine performers.

Anthony Prewitt, Assistant Director of Multicultural Affairs, says they hope to make this talent show and annual event.
