The UT Martin Soccer team picked up two big wins over the weekend. The Skyhawks defeated Morehead State on the road 2-1 on Friday thanks to goals from Alice Adams and Bella Roberts. The team then traveled to Richmond, Kentucky for a matchup with Eastern Kentucky. The team found itself tied at 1 after 55 minutes of play before the Skyhawks scored a flurry of goals in a 12-minute span. Alice Adams scored her second goal of the weekend, followed up by 2 goals from Jill Hildreth to give the Skyhawks a 4-1 win. The wins give the Skyhawks sole possession of 4th place in the OVC and sitting just 2 points outside of 2nd place, which would give them a double-bye to the OVC tournament Semi-Finals. The team will be back in action on Sunday as they host Southeast Missouri.
