SGRho Week 2023

The members of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. will be hosting multiple events this week in order to promote their chapter and sisterhood.

On Monday, they invited UTM students to send in photos of their pets and educated students on the benefits of owning pets. "Secret Life of Pets: Pet Appreciation" was hosted all day online. There was also a Gas Card giveaway taking place at the table, sponsored by Sellars Gas and Food. 4 gift card winners will be selected by the end of the week, check out the Poodles' Instagram for more information.

Tuesday, the chapter set up in the University Center and welcomed students to come by their table to grab a croc charm and a cookie. "Yeen Rockin' if Yeen Crockin': Cookies and Crocs" was an exciting way for the chapter to bring engagement to the table.

"Catch a Vibe: Poodle Hangout" will be taking place on Wednesday the 29th. On the UC Patio starting at 5:22 pm, everyone is invited to come to hang out and grab a popsicle with the poodles. They will also be hosting a game night tonight in the Multicultural Lounge at 6:22 pm.

Thursday, the chapter will be highlighting underground poets with "Snap and Sip: Phront Rhow Poetry Slam." Hosted at the Martin Courtyard at 6:22 pm, all community members are encouraged to come out. They will also be set up in the UC from 11-1 taking entries for the Gas Card giveaway.

The final event of the week will take place on Friday with Mr. Rhomeo. "A Night to Remember: Mr. Rhomeo" will be in Watkins Auditorium at 6 on UTM's campus and will consist of a male pageant where contestants will be competing for a crown and the Mr. Rhomeo title. Tickets are $5 at the door, but $3 if you buy them before the 30th. DM Kappa Gamma on Instagram for pre-sale tickets.

The Kaptivating Kappa Gamma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. was charted on October 6th, 1986 at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
