Intramural sports have returned to the University of Tennessee at Martin in an innovative fashion this semester.
Softball, golf, tennis and soccer are just a few of the activities that will take place in the coming weeks.
Safety is a top concern for the staff at the Student Recreation Center.
Safety guidelines include: social distancing, equipment cleaning, and facial coverings will be implemented by intramural officials.
Intramural Sports Coordinator Trace Stenz, is hopeful students will find ways to stay active in a safe manner this semester.
"I think having something engaging for students to participate in, while being as safe as possible, is very important to give them some type of outside the classroom experience," Stenz said.
