After their performance last Saturday against Tennessee Tech, John Bachus III and TJ Jefferson both earned TSWA Football Players of the Week awards. Jefferson tied a season high in tackles with 12, and set a new career high in sacks with 2.5. Bachus had a career day as well by setting new career highs in passing yards (331) and passing touchdowns (5). The two stars will try to match their past performance this weekend against Eastern Illinois at home.
