Pies, chili and French fries are just some of the foods participants in Alpha Delta Pi's philanthropy week can enjoy.
ADPi's philanthropy week, also called Lion's Share, is the time that they raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). In the 2017-2018 school year, ADPi contributed over $1 million to RMHC.
Sorority member Shelby Guffey gets excited about Lion's Share when it comes around. "One of the four cornerstones of our organization is really that service standpoint," said Guffey.
Not only is service important for the national organization, ADPi members are able to keep their service local. According to Guffey, ADPi partners with Ronald McDonald House to give back locally to the Memphis chapter.
ADPi's events for the rest of the week are:
Pie Sale (Tuesday, October 1 from 10-2, UC Hallway)
Chili Cookoff (Wednesday, October 2 from 5-8, UC Ballroom)
Proceed Night at McDonald's (Friday, October 4 from 5-8)
