The UT Martin Women’s Basketball flexed its muscles in a dominant win over the weekend. The Skyhawks bounced back from Thursday’s close loss to Eastern Illinois with a 79-to-39 victory over SIUE. An impressive team performance highlighted by, forcing 17 turnovers, 19 assists on 25 made baskets, and 50% shooting day from the floor helped get the Skyhawks back on track. Junior forward Chelsey Perry led the team once again, by posting 25 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 blocks. Freshman forward Daisa Young stepped up by contributing 15 points and 5 rebounds. Nine of the teams eleven players made contributions on the score sheet on Saturday. The team returns to action on Thursday as they travel to Eastern Kentucky
