Due to a high potential for severe weather this evening, UTM is making several schedule changes.
The University Administrative Offices and the Student Recreation Center will both close at 4 pm. The University Center (UC) has canceled all events after 4:00 pm. The main campus will be dismissing all events and classes after 4 pm as well.
However, the UC will have the first floor available as an emergency shelter throughout the evening. The building will continue to be open until the chance of severe weather passes. On-campus residents should follow directions from Residence Life Staff for shelter locations in the residence hall areas. Additionally, the Dining Hall will have normal dinner from 4:30 – 6 pm.
Be sure to stay weather aware of the inclement weather and have multiple ways to be contacted of changing conditions. Emergency Alert Service weather updates will be available on WUTM.
