The University of Tennessee at Martin's Registrar's Office has decided to extend the drop deadline for classes to April 3, 2020 at 5 p.m.
An email to students cites the in-person class suspension as the reasoning for this decision. UT Martin in-person classes were cancelled last week after the global pandemic struck Tennessee.
The office reminds students in the email to check their Banner Self-Service account for any holds. As long as the student has no hold, he or she will be able to drop classes until April 3 at 5.
The email does note that this exemption is only for classes that are still ongoing. The office asks you to reach out to the Financial Aid Office with any questions about how this could affect loans and scholarships.
