The Tennessee Department of Health confirmed 835 additional cases of COVID-19 across the state Thursday, Sept. 24.
The department also confirmed 35 deaths and 1,504 new recoveries.
They reported Weakley County has 129 active cases, which is an increase of three since Wednesday.
According to the department, Obion has 153 active cases, which is up from 139 Wednesday.
University of Tennessee at Martin officials said there were 36 active student cases, along with two faculty and staff cases.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say to expect a worsening of COVID-19 in the fall and winter.
