The Tennessee Department of Health confirmed 957 additional cases of COVID-19 across the state Tuesday, Sept. 15.
The department also confirmed 30 additional deaths and 1,852 new recoveries.
Weakley County has 114 active cases, the department reported, which is a decrease of 19 cases from Monday.
According to the department, Obion County has 120 active cases, and down from 17 Monday.
University of Tennessee at Martin officials confirmed 17 students have the virus, along with one faculty and staff member.
Student Health and Counseling tested students Monday and Tuesday during walk-up and drive-through examinations. Officials with the department say results will be back in two or three days.
