The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Martin Public Library will be held Friday at Festival Park at 1:00 p.m. in downtown Martin.
The ceremony will feature speeches by several of the individuals involved in the process of making the library project happen.
The library is estimated to cost around $11.5 million upon completion and donations to the library foundation are still being accepted.
